Community
Community covers the wider circle. Faith communities, neighbors, volunteer groups, civic organizations, after-school programs, mutual-aid networks. Pieces in this part address the role of a community in a child's healing, the recognition that healing is a communal act and not only a private one, the practice of finding and contributing to a community that holds families like this one, the long arc of building community when the family is new in town, the question of community in a context where the family's identity is not common in the neighborhood, and the work of receiving help from a community without losing privacy. They include the cultural and faith dimensions of community where they sit honestly in a family's life. Forms that fit this part include `LENS`, `OPINION`, `STAGE_GUIDE`, `POLICY`, and `TRAIL_STORY`. The journey vocabulary includes: the wagon train, the wider room, the community that holds.
